18 to 28 years as on 1 September 2026. Major relaxations: SC/ST 5 years, OBC 3 years, PwBD 10 years, plus distinct ex-servicemen and widowed/divorced women rules in the notification.
Salary & Pay Scale
Pay, allowances, probation and service conditions are set by the Regional Rural Bank that appoints the candidate. The common notice does not state one universal Office Assistant in-hand salary.
Educational Qualification
Bachelor's degree in any discipline from a recognised university or equivalent, with the result declared by 21 September 2026; local-language proficiency is essential.
Selection Process
Online Preliminary Examination and Online Main Examination, followed by provisional allotment. There is no interview. Preliminary marks do not count in final merit.
Exam Pattern Summary
Preliminary: 80 questions, 80 marks, 45 minutes. Main: 200 questions, 200 marks, 120 minutes, with English or Hindi language choice. Wrong objective answers attract one-fourth or 0.25 of assigned marks.
Application Fee
₹175 including GST for SC/ST/PwBD/ESM/DESM candidates; ₹850 including GST for all other candidates.

RRB Office Assistant selection Prelims → Mains → provisional allotment/document checks है। Interview नहीं होता। Prelims screening और Mains competitive selection stage है।
Reasoning और Numerical Ability वाला Prelims Mains के लिए shortlist करता है; इसके marks final merit नहीं हैं।
Mains में Reasoning, Computer Knowledge, GA, English/Hindi Language और Numerical Ability हैं। Office Assistant में Interview नहीं है।
Mains score provisional allotment का competitive base है, subject to State/RRB vacancy, category, language और documents।
Interview, Group Exercise और Psychometric Test नहीं हैं।
