Stage 1 — Prelims
Prelims में Reasoning और Quantitative Aptitude हैं। यह Main के लिए screening stage है। Prelims marks final merit में add नहीं होते।
इसलिए Prelims का लक्ष्य पुराने cutoff को exactly hit करना नहीं, बल्कि safe margin के साथ qualify करना है।
Stage 2 — Main
Officer Scale I final selection में written score का असली weight Main का है। Main में Reasoning, Computer Knowledge, General Awareness, English या Hindi Language और Quantitative Aptitude आते हैं।
Applicable Main cutoffs clear करने वाले candidates Common Interview के लिए shortlist होते हैं।
Stage 3 — Common Interview
Interview 100 marks का है। Minimum qualifying percentage:
General/EWS: 40%
SC/ST/OBC/PwBD: 35%
Minimum clear करना allotment guarantee नहीं करता; final merit और vacancies matter करती हैं।
Final merit — 80:20
Officer Scale I में Main Examination और Interview का relative weight 80:20 है।
Prelims → screening Main → 80% relative weight Interview → 20% relative weight
यही RRB Office Assistant से बड़ा difference है, क्योंकि Office Assistant में Interview नहीं होता।
Provisional allotment
Final combined score relevant State/category में पर्याप्त होने के बाद भी actual vacancies, documents, eligibility और local-language conditions verify होते हैं। Provisional allotment को unconditional appointment न समझें।
Preparation meaning
Prelims के बाद GA और Computer zero से start मत करें। Interview को भी सिर्फ 10-day personality class न बनाएं। Rural banking, economy, financial inclusion, agriculture/MSME credit, chosen State/RRB और अपने academic/work profile की समझ preparation के दौरान ही बनाते रहें।
