CRP-RRBs XV: current position
IBPS Office Assistant registration ran from 1 to 21 September 2026 and is now closed. The IBPS page checked on 25 September 2026 showed no extension notice.
The updated official Annexure-I dated 15 September gives 8,222 indicative Office Assistant posts across participating Regional Rural Banks. Vacancies are RRB/state-wise and may be revised.
Exam dates
IBPS's 2026–27 tentative calendar lists Office Assistant Prelims on 6, 12 and 13 December 2026 and Main on 30 January 2027. Treat these dates as tentative unless IBPS issues a confirming notice. Admit card, venue, reporting time and any revision should be taken from current IBPS instructions.
What matters while applying
Office Assistant is State/RRB-linked. State/RRB choice, local language and vacancy position must be read together. There is no interview: Prelims shortlists and Mains is the competitive selection exam.
Successful form submission does not itself prove eligibility; candidature remains subject to scrutiny.
After applying, keep the submitted form and payment proof, verify local-language requirements and begin Mains GA/Computer preparation early.
