Age Limit
20 to 30 years as on 1 July 2026. Major upper-age relaxations: SC/ST 5 years, OBC (non-creamy layer) 3 years, PwBD 10 years, and eligible ex-servicemen/commissioned officers 5 years.
Salary & Pay Scale
Pay, allowances and service conditions are those of the participating bank that makes the appointment. IBPS does not state one universal PO in-hand salary in the CRP notification.
Educational Qualification
Graduation in any discipline from a university recognised by the Government of India, or an equivalent Central Government qualification, with the result declared by the notified cutoff.
Selection Process
Preliminary Examination; Main Examination (objective and descriptive); mandatory non-qualifying Personality Test; Interview; provisional allotment. Preliminary marks are only for shortlisting. Final weighting is Main 80% and Interview 20%.
Exam Pattern Summary
Preliminary: 100 questions, 100 marks, 60 minutes. Main: 170 objective questions for 200 marks in 160 minutes plus a 2-question descriptive test for 25 marks in 30 minutes. Wrong objective answers attract one-fourth or 0.25 of the assigned marks.
Application Fee
₹175 including GST for SC/ST/PwBD candidates; ₹850 including GST for all other candidates.
