Customer Service Associate is the official current name; IBPS Clerk remains the familiar search name. Previous official notifications help explain its two online stages, but historical score figures do not predict a future allotment.
What the official record shows
The recent official CSA notifications use a Preliminary Examination followed by a Main Examination.
There is no interview in the notified CSA selection process.
Provisional allotment is based on Main Examination merit under the notified process, with local-language requirements to be satisfied as applicable before joining.
Why raw marks mislead
Marks can vary with state or Union Territory, category, vacancies, test difficulty and normalisation. Treat a past cutoff as context, not a promise or a daily score target. Banking Legends omits unverified or non-comparable cutoff dumps rather than presenting them as universal facts.
What to compare between cycles
Compare the official sections, timings, mark allocation and local-language instructions. If an IBPS notification changes those details, the current notification governs—not a historical pattern or tentative calendar.
A useful interpretation
The lesson from history is to prepare for the Main Examination while clearing the qualifying preliminary stage: understand the structure, build a base, interpret questions accurately and calculate only as fast as you can remain correct.
